China's National Weather Bureau to Install Multiple Telairity Encoders

Telairity Partner Beijing Blue Satellite Communication Awarded Weather Bureau Contract for BE8500 Encoders

SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 23 -- Telairity, a global leader in encoding technology, announced today that the China Meteorological Administration, the national weather bureau of the People's Republic of China, will use Telairity's BE8500 encoders throughout its country-wide system. The BE8500 is the world's first dynamic dual-mode HD/SD (High Definition/Standard Definition) encoder able to easily interconvert between multiple advanced compression standards, including both the H.264/AVC standard and China's own AVS standard.

Beijing Blue Satellite Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (BSC), a Telairity partner headquartered in Beijing, was awarded the Administration's satellite application project.  BSC provides professional satellite communications equipment, and develops long-range satellite communications networks in China and abroad.

The BE8500 encoder is a 1RU single channel HD/SD unit capable of hot-switching between a high-definition and standard-definition video source. It also features easy conversion between H.264/AVC and China's AVS compression technology. Since the BE8500 can accept source input in any format, HD or SD, and output an encoded stream targeted to any type of screen: HD, SD, or mobile, it literally offers customers such as the Weather Bureau compression without boundaries.  According to BSC, in addition to its unprecedented flexibility, the Telairity system was selected over other systems because of its industry-leading low 150ms encode latency, its ability to maintain outstanding picture quality while achieving extremely low bit rates for both HD and SD formats, and its 1080P-ready capabilities.

The Meteorological Administration's choice of BSC is based on BSC's proven record as one of China's premier major systems integrators for satellite applications, and a distributor of equipment from both Chinese and offshore companies.  Among its government clients are units of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Health, China Meteorological Administration, China Civil Aviation Administration and the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT). BSC indicated that additional large scale Telairity encoder sales to other government agencies as well as more details about the meteorological administration project will be announced in the very near future.

TEL AVIV, Israel, March 23, 2010--     Notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting of the
Shareholders (the: "Meeting") of Istec - Industries and technologies Ltd., a
company incorporated under the laws of the State of Israel (the "Company"),
will be held at the Company's offices, at22 Hayetzira Street, Petach Tikva,
Israel, on April 22th, 2010 at 13:00 p.m., Israel time. This Notice is a
translation for convenience of the Hebrew version of the notice. In case of
divergence of interpretation between the English version and the Hebrew
version, the Hebrew version shall prevail.

    The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

    1. Replacement of the Company's Articles of Association. The
full text of the new Company's Articles of Association may be viewed at the
offices of the Company's legal counsel in Israel - Meitar Liquornik Geva &
Leshem Brandwein Law Offices (the: "Legal Counsel's Offices"), at regular
business hours, and upon advance coordination.

    2. Re-appointment of (a) Mr. Shlomo Shmeltzer; (b) Mr. Assaf
Shmeltzer; and (c) Ms. Atalia Shmeltzer, for an additional term to the Board
of Directors of the Company.

    3. Appointment of Mr. Dov Rabinovich as an External Director
of the Company. Mr. Dov Rabinovich shall be entitled to remuneration in
accordance with the Fixed Annual Remuneration and the Fixed Remuneration per
Meeting, as such terms are defined under the Israeli Companies Regulations
(regulations regarding remuneration and expenses for external director), 2000
(the: "Remuneration Regulations"), considering the Company's category under
such regulations. The Company received Mr. Dov Rabinovich's declaration
regarding his fulfillment of the conditions required for the appointment as
an External Directors, as required under the Israeli Companies Law, 1999 (the
"Companies Law"). The full text of Mr. Dov Rabinovich's declaration may be
viewed at the Legal Counsel's Offices, at regular business hours, and upon
advance coordination.

    4. Appointment of Mr. David Shohat as an External Director of
the Company. Mr. David Shohat shall be entitled to remuneration in accordance
with the Fixed Annual Remuneration and the Fixed Remuneration per Meeting, as
such terms are defined under the Remuneration Regulations, considering the
Company's category under such regulations. The Company received Mr. David
Shohat's declaration regarding his fulfillment of the conditions required for
the appointment as an External Directors, as required under the Israeli
Companies Law. The full text of Mr. David Shohat's declaration may be viewed
at the Legal Counsel's Offices at regular business hours, and upon advance
coordination.

    The quorum required for the Meeting

    The quorum required for the Meeting consists of two or more Shareholders
of Company (present in person or by proxy at the Meeting) holding or
representing at least one third of the voting rights in the Company. If
within half an hour from the time appointed for the Meeting, a quorum is not
present, the Meeting shall stand adjourned to the same day in the following
week at the same time and place, or at any time and place as the Directors
shall designate and state in a notice to the Shareholders. If at such
adjourned meeting, a quorum is not present within half an hour from the time
appointed for the Meeting, two Shareholders present in person or by proxy
will constitute a quorum.

    The majority required for the approval of the resolutions

    Section 1 on the agenda for the Meeting requires the
affirmative vote of the shareholders who hold three quarters of the voting
power represented at the Meeting.

    Section 2 on the agenda for the Meeting requires the
affirmative vote of the shareholders holding a simple majority of the voting
power represented at the Meeting.

    Each of Sections 3 and 4 on the agenda for the Meeting
requires, in addition to a simple majority of the shares present and voted at
the Meeting, that either (a) at least 1/3 of the shares present and voted at
the Meeting and held by shareholders that are not control persons or
representatives of control persons of the company be voted for such
resolutions (abstentions will be disregarded) or (b) the shares present and
voted at the Meeting by persons referred to in clause (a) against each of
such resolutions represent less than 1% of the total voting power in the
company.

    Record Date

    The record date for the determination of Shareholders entitled
to vote at the Meeting, according to Article 182(c) to the Companies Law, has
been fixed to be at the close of business on March 24th, 2010.

    A shareholder who wishes to vote at the Meeting shall provide
to the Company proof of ownership of such shareholder's shares from a member
of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in such manner prescribed by the Israeli
Companies Regulations (Proof of Ownership of Shares for Voting at General
Meeting), 2000, or another proof of ownership that shall be provided to the
Company in accordance with applicable law, to the Company's satisfaction.

    A proxy to participate and vote at the Meeting without
attending to the Meeting shall be provided, no later than 48 hours prior to
the time set for the Meeting, to the Legal Counsel's Offices during regular
business hours. Voting by voting paper shall be done on the back of the
second part of the voting paper as may be issued in the Legal Counsel's
Offices during regular business hours. The voting paper may be sent to the
Legal Counsel's Offices by fax: +9723-6103649 or by mail to the address
specified below. The voting paper shall be sent no later than 72 hours prior
to the time set for the Meeting.

(NASDAQ:LTON), a wireless interactive entertainment services provider to consumers in China, today announced that it together with its major shareholder, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk ("MNC"), have completed the acquisition of 75% of the share capital of InnoForm Group ("InnoForm"). InnoForm is a Singapore-based company with regional offices in Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, specializing in the development, distribution and licensing of edutainment and entertainment products. It is one of the industry's leading VCD/DVD/CD distributors for both the English and Chinese language markets in Singapore and the Asian region.

Based on InnoForm's 2009 unaudited net profit after tax, which is approximately SGD 2.14 million as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards, Linktone and MNC agreed to pay SGD 9.75 million in cash to acquire 75% of the share capital of InnoForm. Linktone and MNC will hold 50% and 25% of the share capital of InnoForm, respectively. In addition, Linktone and MNC have the option to purchase the remaining 25% of outstanding share capital, whereby 15% of the share capital can be purchased within 18 months, and the other 10% of the share capital can be purchased within 30 months, from the agreement date.

MMORPG and Virtual World Platform Provider MindArk Completes Online Games Study Contract for European Space Agency

GOTEBORG, Sweden, March 23 -- MindArk PE AB, developer and publisher of Entropia Universe and Entropia Platform, announced today that a study on the use of online game technology for space-related purposes has been completed. The contract for the study was awarded to MindArk by the European Space Agency (ESA) in 2009 and a film presenting the main findings is published on YouTube.

This is supported by the findings of the study and the project with the European Space Agency has been a great push forward for us in this area. MindArk´s interest in implementing educational content inside online games was sparked by our previous discussions with NASA about their online game plans." said Christian Bjorkman, MindArk's Chief Marketing Officer. "The work on the study has helped MindArk in finding new means of mixing educational content with entertainment in Entropia Universe. The study ("Online Game Technology for Space Education and System Analysis") was performed to assess options for the European Space Agency with regards to using online game technology, specifically in the areas of outreach/promotion, education and collaborative engineering.

BEIJING, March 23 -- Digital TV software specialist Ocean Blue Software is demonstrating its full turnkey Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV (HbbTV) - compatible software solution at China Content Broadcasting Network Expo (CCBN), the world's leading Digital TV (DTV) and broadband network industries event, from 23-25 March at the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC) in Beijing, China.

The new solution, was developed in partnership with a leading web browser provider, and combines industry leading web browsing technology with Ocean Blue Software's (OBS) Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) middleware which incorporates the HbbTV extensions and can be integrated into a third party HbbTV browser.

Ken Helps, CEO at Ocean Blue Software said, "Our engineers have added the HbbTV extensions to Sunrise, Ocean Blue's proven DVB stack, and the DSM-CC. Futuresource Consulting, a UK-based specialist research company, anticipates that by the end of 2010, the installed base of Internet connected TVs in Europe will have expanded to around 15 million devices, representing nearly 10% of the total number of flat panels in use. The consultancy says the next step for manufacturers is to add more compelling video services including paid for movie streaming. Broadband TV News agrees with the analysis, but added that the TV companies will have to go some way to match the offers available either through the iTunes store, or more importantly the pay-TV platforms with who they will be directly competing.*

An Ubuntu Security Notice from March 17, 2010 mentions some vulnerabilities in the kernels used by Ubuntu-based distributions from 8.04 to 9.10; the 6.06 release is affected, too. (Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10 were not mentioned, but they are no longer supported anyway.)

They are all local attacks; none of the listed attacks can be invoked by a remote attacker. All of them can, however, lead to a denial of service condition if successfully exploited by a local attacker.
