Yeah,the Apple store will eat your money.They will do anything to get their hands on some.
Instead of going to the Apple store,you should go to the MacMall.
Those people will probably give you the part you need for cheaper.
I don't know if Best Buy is the place to go for what you need.
But it doesn't hurt to try that place too..I hoped my suggestions helped you!
