Also...here's a place to disguss your favorite parts from both versions, or anything else relating to the Dawn of the Dead!

i've never seen the old version of Dawn of the Dead but i did love the new one. I love the part where they were just having fun sniping zombies that looked like actors. Burt Reynolds lol.

You have to see the original!
That part was halarious.
Also, at the beginning, when that chick's husband was running after her when she was in her car and all of a sudden he spots someone else and runs to that person like a dog with ADD.
That was the funniest movie that I've seen in a while.
You stayed for the credits right? Because more then half of the movie theatre, that I was at, left when the credits started at the end and didn't see the REAL ending.

Yea i remember that scene lol. Laughed my ass off on that part too. What I love about this movie is that it can be really funny and scary at the same time. And yea i believe i saw the end scene "SPOILER" when they finally landed only to come across more zombies and all ended up dieing or possibly turned into zombies as well? "END OF SPOILER" I believe there were more credits after that but i left. Was there more after that part or no?

No, not really, they were all eaten and became zombies. It was fun. I suggest you go rent the origional asap!

I prefer the first Dawn of the Dead's epic scale and mall setting, along with the developed characters and losing battle against the dead. Most of the blue faced zombies didn't necessarily look dead enough, but that was made up for by the sheer numbers of zombies.

For DOTD 2004, I liked the pacing, where you didn't have time to think how you'd out manuever the zombies, they'd just turn and attack in a heartbeat. Fresh zombies running is somewhat believable, but rotted zombies shouldn't be able to run, since their decayed muscles wouldn't allow it. Even so, I prefer slow, stupid, shuffling zombies over fast ones. In the end, I did enjoy DOTD 2004 and it's original take on things.
