The RIAA must be happier than a pig in shit because of their extortion on eDonkey. When will these stupid cartels go away and let the artists get the money?

I'm sure they'll find a way to go after torrent sites, but I'm sure we'll find a way around it. The recording industry is BS. They've been ripping people off for years, and they're scrambling to protect their cash cow. I'd buy a lot more CD's if they were $8 each instead of $15-18. I can't see paying the current prices to download digital music either. At $.99 per track they're making as much or more than selling a CD, and there's virtually no overhead. $.25 to $.50 a track is more reasonable if you want me to put up with the limitations of DRM. I say support your local music scene, and keep downloading your 50 cent for free.

Who cares if they take down anything, newsgroups and torrent sites (invite only ones) are the only efficient way to go anyways

Invite torrent sites ftw. Maybe this site would get more traffic as an invite torrent forum? Come on aron, be the captain to a crew of pirates! Argh!
