Zapoint(R) Acquires Jobster(R)

Combination of Companies Gives Employers First Ever Real-Time Linkage Between In-House Personnel Skills Mapping and Ready Supply of Qualified Candidates

BROOKLINE, Mass., April 8 -- Zapoint®, the leading provider of employee career management and organizational planning solutions, today announced it has acquired Jobster® from Recruiting.com, Inc.  Together, Zapoint and Jobster will provide employers and professionals alike with the industry's most advanced career management tools, connecting both the supply and demand for skills more effectively than ever before.

Founded in 2006, Zapoint is the developer of SkillsMapper, its flagship enterprise solution that gives employers better visibility into existing skills and competencies within their workforce.  SkillsMapper helps employers identify potential skill gaps in the organization, enabling managers to build targeted workforce learning and guide more effective hiring.  By combining Zapoint's talent management capabilities with Jobster's unparalleled technical tools, employers will be able to dynamically link their demand for specific skills with the available supply of skills found on Jobster.

Jobster.com, started in 2004, is an innovator in job board and social technology integration.  The site, which offers talent profiling capabilities complementary to Zapoint's SkillsMapper, serves as a repository of individual skills and experience that is easily searchable by both employers and recruiters.

"Zapoint and Jobster share a common vision of combing the latest Web platforms with advanced career management technologies to stimulate the talent management marketplace," said Chris Twyman, CEO of Zapoint.  "Most job boards focus on the demand side of the equation.  By placing the power of SkillsMapper within the Jobster framework, we intend to shift the balance for perhaps the first time ever to the supply side, thereby benefiting employers, recruiters and candidates alike."

"The user interaction between Zapoint's SkillsMapper and Jobster's skill analytics technology should be revolutionary and a real step forward for the human resource field," stated Jeff Seely, CEO of Recruiting.com.  "We think the combination will provide a better solution for customers, making it easier to connect the market supply of skills with employer demand."

For professionals, the combination of Jobster and Zapoint will offer the ability to generate a standard talent profile coupled with interactive career planning and networking tools.  The mix will allow individuals to take charge of their own career paths; network with other professionals of similar career interests and skills; receive instant feedback on job qualification; and move from one job to the next while maintaining a common profile.

Employers and recruiters will find a new level of efficiency in their workforce development and talent acquisition processes.  Together, Zapoint's SkillsMapper and Jobster will provide a way to benchmark and compare talent from within the company with talent from the Jobster network.  The solution will help guide more effective hiring decisions and ensure that the company is hiring the most qualified candidate.

"We look forward to the combination of Zapoint and Jobster creating a highly interactive repository of relevant information regarding professionals, industries, competencies and experiences.  Best of all, this repository will be accessible on demand to everyone involved," stated Twyman.

While both sites are planned to retain their separate identities, Jobster will offer new career management tools that are "Powered by Zapoint".

Moving forward, Jobster will operate as division of Zapoint; users can expect to see development of new features on both sites by June, 2010.
