"ow" he says sarcastically ..."your my lil brothers sensei yet he still hasn't met you i just thought you would at least say hi to the kid lord this is why women don't make good shinobi" he says
"What was that about women not making good shinobi? Hah! I've heard many stories about lady Tsunade being a hell of a Hokage." Samui scoffs, her eyebrow twitching slightly. "Also, women also think before they act. And no, I'm not going to meet any of the little brats just yet. I've decided to make it a surprise." She shrugs, and then yawns.
"go home and don't call my lil bro a brat i still think the previous hokages were better and jiraya had turned down the position" he says turning his back on her
Kagayaku is on his roof. He holds back the tears, knowing that if he were to start crying about one thing then he would begin crying about other things. And he hates crying...he can't stand it. But he wanted his mom. He wanted to know that she is safe. To know she is alive.
"Look for her?" Kagayaku nearly chokes on his own spit. He looks at Kyo with wide eyes. "But we would get in huge trouble! And...if they were in trouble I wouldn't keep getting messenger hawks from her..." But how did Kagayaku know that those weren't from the enemy? He could feel the worry increase.
"Thats why we break into hokages office and find the file with your moms mission on it...come on its for your mom im sure they will understand, if you don't come then i will just go without you" he says
"Yes" he says as they go to the hokages office. Kyo goes to the window..."My brother showed me this..im a mist shinobi we are water affiliated usually this takes alot of concentration luckily i always have time to spare and practice on my control" he says as there is water around them as it rained earlier.. he concentrates real hard pulling the water together and using it to slide under the window and slowly open in. Kyo is holding it in place ..."Ok go to the file cabinet and get the file with your moms name on it" he says
"Can do." Kagayaku smiles, and does as he is told. He find shis mother's name in one of the drawers, and pulls out the file. He searches through a bunch of papers, but doesn't find anything about a mission. He furrows his eyebrows and tries once more. Kagayaku's heart is pounding like crazy, almost making him sick to his stomach. The tears stumble down his cheeks as he searches through the papers a dozen more times. He wouldn't accept it. He wouldn't. His mother had abandoned him.
Kagayaku looks at Kyo and shakes his head. "She's gone. Her records are set to be destroyed in two days. She...she asked for it...the papers, the notes passed between Hokage and my mom. They are all here. They are all here." And he drops to his knees, unable to stop the tears, and still clutching the folder of papers.
kyo feels bad..."There must be an explanation she wouldn't abandon you at this point of your life, do the papers say where she went..it could be a real hard mission s class" he says
Kagayaku holds the paper out to Kyo, as his sobbing caused made speaking nearly impossible for him. Kagayaku had never cried in his life. This is the first time. And it felt just like he imagined...and he hates it just as much as he thought he would. But the papers were a definite conversation between Tsen and the Hokage. The last sentence is his mother's, and she had ended the conversation with: My husband was the Anbu captain, strong and powerful...Kagayaku shall never get to his level...and it tears my heart apart to think that the only thing I have in my life won't get anywhere in it.
Kagayaku manages to say. "I had to find out sooner or later. Better late then never, right?" He gives a trembling laugh. He couldn't stand the sight of other people crying, either. Especially when he felt like it was his fault.
