Miley Cyrus BS, High School Musical BS, Anything that Toy's R Us has in their store tape BS. Thank god I threw Sirius Satellite Radio in the back. Thank god I work in the back, I would kill someone if I worked on the floor.
Well, in response to the actual topic, that new song by Rihanna is no easy listen (or any of her stuff that I've heard).
In response to the rap thing, I realize that if you're judging rap it's most likely on the radio-based selection. I'm not a huge fan of rap, but I don't discount it. There are rap songs written about actual issues (ex: Jay-z's "Minority Report" or anything written by Immortal Technique) that I appreciate more than "Lollipop".
When it comes to country, the overall sound just gets to me.. I can't stand the twangy noise in their background music or in their voice. I'm sure country singers also sing about serious topics, but the songs about a guy losing his truck and his dog really don't drive me to look further into it .
most rap, EVERY FucKING SONG THEY PLAY 50 thousand fucking times a day on every fuckin radio station I.E: i kissed a girl and i liked it, shake it. Pretty much anything not metal annoys the crap out of me though. I'm very picky about my music.
