Large Signatures Must Go

This is a warning for anyone that has a large signature image... Remove it now or else...

Edit: As an added bonus, the site now has limits on signature images and can get info for the size of images. This will be implemented in forums as well for limitations on posting large images.

the signiture thing is cool but putting a limite on the size of an Image on the forum posts is dumb I mean what if we have to post what are character looks like in RP and the img is to big

I assume Aron means "so large it stretches the tables" rather than "slows down dial up computers." Most image hosting places have image resize options, and all image hosting places have thumbnail views; so there really is no excuse.

Aron, what do you mean by image size when it comes to the forums? Do you mean dimensions, or filesize?

@ Supermage: There shouldn't be anything wrong with that one. Its not even borderline.

Dimensions soon... filesize, probably not.

Signature images are limited to 500x100 and only 1 image is allowed.

All signatures with images will be cleared if it doesn't pass the new requirements.

Are you gonna have it auto-reject large signatures, or will you have it cut off after a certain length like it did in V3?

Auto-reject for images.

The Version 3 thing was a bug, the database was truncating the input since it didn't fit into the field.

If it keeps bandwidth down and eliminates lag, it's probably a good idea. Not to mention that huge sigs are annoying.
