Look no further then the media which has treated her like, well I'll just say it. Like shit.

I'll point out just one thing. The media consistently pointed out that she was a mayor of a town in Alaska. Almost as if she wasn't even the Governor of Alaska.

That would be the equivalent of only pointing out that Obama was a Community Organizer in Chicago.

I didn't drink Obama's koolaid. I merely sniffed and the flavor of hope is actually good, I might actually be high on it. But it's still wait and see, after Jan 20th we'll really see if he has the balls to do the job.

Yeah, I can already see the buyers remorse surfacing. That's what happens when you buy into hype and bumper sticker policy "Hope! Change!"

Also we have Putin wanting to get back into power in Russia, putting more missiles pointed at Poland up. Iran knowing that they got someone they don't even have to take seriously anymore, and Israel who is no doubt not going to tolerate the threat of a Nuclear Iran. We're heading for some shakey times. At least under McCain we wouldn't be cutting most of our military spending which would greatly weaken our military.

I supported Obama, still do but I still feel there's something fishy about him so yeah. But this is not the time to wish for his failure, at least wish he starts the ball rolling to put the country back on track. If that's not enough, in 4 years kick him to the curb.

Personally, I'm happy that Republicans lost, it gives the party time to regroup come back stronger for 2012. I doubt McCain could have brought any change though. For one his campaign was full assholes as evidenced by their need to bash Palin. He couldn't unite his own campaign but wanted to unite a country, yeah like that would have worked. But I guess we'll never know.....

About Palin though, if the claims are true, that gives people one more reason they should be happy that they didn't win. But I seriously doubt that someone like her didn't know Africa was a continent...that's just ridiculous. What I do believe is that she didn't stop but kinda veered from being a VP but saw herself as president, she seems like a really ambitious person. Finally, saying she's dumb is also saying the Alaskan people are dumb, since she was elected as mayor and then Governor and I really don't think that's the case. If anything she was unprepared for the spot.

I agree, I don't wish him failure like the Democrats did to Bush for the last 8 years. I just hope to god that he doesn't screw up so badly that he will leave the country in even worse shape. I'll surely be pointing out things that I don't like though.

And yes, I agree with you also regarding the Republicans. In fact they are more like Democrats except wearing red right now, they are pathetically weak even when it comes to defending themselves. The Republican campaign was in shambles from the beginning when they chose McCain, who has been working against the Republicans for the last 8 years and only recently started acting like one, even then he couldn't even attack Obama on things that I would have wanted him to go for. I would have rather had Palin as the candidate then McCain to be honest, she truly believes in what she believes in. Don't get me started on McCains campaign staff ...

Also again regarding Palin, most of the stuff in the news about her recently is total bull, and most of the stuff during the campaign was too. The campaign staff didn't like her from the beginning (this goes back to Republicans basically being Democrats these days) because she was actually a Republican who stood for the values of the party which is another reason I like her so much better. But I do agree that she was also a heck of a lot unprepared for it. Hell, she was chosen 7 weeks before the election. I can definitely seeing her being the future of the Republican party though. Out with the old (McCain) in with the new (Palin). But only time will tell.

The fact is that the liberal media continually bashes on Republicans (Bush wasn't a conservative at all). They can't even see past the trees that Bush and the media are two peas in a pod. Obama is the continuation of that.

What we have is a superstar nominated by the media and Holywood that was shoved down the country's throat like an episode of American Idol (President Edition).

One thing that we all need to understand is that Obama will be president and we will need to support him. UNLIKE liberals, we shouldn't want him to fail at running the country or else we lose! I personally would like to see some good come out of this. If it happens, that's great... if not, we've got 2010 to make up in the interim.

I really hope that conservatives don't resort to the Obama bashing like the liberals did to Bush. I agree that Bush's policies were terrible... but that's no reason to make fun of him PERSONALLY.

What we all need to really pay attention to is the censorship that may happen during the Democratic rule. The Fairness Doctrine is on the tip of all the liberal tongues. We must not allow BS claims of "fairness" to impede on free speech.
