120 GB! OH YEAH! I WINz0rZ!

Heh, kidding. XP takes up 18 GB anyway, so it really isn't as much as it sounds. Besides, I don't need all this space, I'd offer to trade ya if all the info required to format my hard drive wasn't on it.

Aren't you a big gamer though, it would seem all that space would come in handy.

As for me, I think 75 gigs is a little too much as it is, 'cause I don't really need the space.
Of course one day, I'll probably eat my words for saying that.

If by 'gamer' you mean 'Final Fantasy XI obsessive', then you're correct. I'm too afraid of viruses to download a lot of things, and I can only afford one monthly payment-type game at a time (most online non-monthly payment USUALLY suck). So yeah, we probably have the same deal. "Don't need it now, gonna punch ourselves later".

XP takes up around 1.5GB of space.

Personally? I have a 200GB drive in my main comp, a 180GB in my fileserver, a 120GB in my secondary, and an 80GB in my thirdiary. The rest are 20GB or smaller.

The new OS Xtreme theme is out in FORCE. Try it now and be amazed. It is the best style we've got.

u are correct aron.. as allways... and omg i want to go about 50 years in the future just cus of like new advancements in like quantom computing and cybernetics.. omg why was i born when i was... i am in the wrong time era...

and to Jaego... computers use binary which is ones and zeros.. becuase liek in hard drives.. things can only be 1 or 0 so to mazimize it things are 2 to the power of whatever.. 1024 is 2^.. i think 10..? but anyway.. its allways 1024 not 1000 really.

According to Moore's Law (which has held true for Hard drives as well) ... with current Hard Drives being 350GB... Should take about 18 Years to hit 1 Petabyte Hard drive, my new Sup at work has a "server" at home that has 6 200GB Hard drives in it (approx 1.1TB) , with a DVD-ROM and DVD-RW...

Also in computing terms everything is Base 2... but when you read the size of a hard drive... 1 billion bytes is 1 GB... not 1,073,741,824 bytes on how they deside how much is there... that's why a 100GB hard drive is only 95.37GB actually ... problem is that extra number keeps falling off but will catch up eventually, 14TB is actually over 15 trillion bytes...
