Did anyone watch the 2 hour Grey's Anatomy 2 weeks ago that tested the new spinoff for Addison Shepherd? I, truthfully, am not sure what I thought of it. They all seem like good characters, but they just don't have the same chemistry as Grey's. From what I heard, the show is a "go". I'll miss having Addison on Grey's, though. She is such a strong woman!
That show really isn't old enough to warrant a spin-off.
I have to agree. I think Grey's got packed with so many characters and so many potential stories that they wanted to try and spread out the success. I think Addison's absence from Grey's will be a HUGE hit for the show. I wasn't pleased with the Grey's season finale, either. I'll be interested to see what happens now.
What I am interested in is how they are going to do the series. the anthology format took a big hit the second half of the year.
Very true!! They'll need to do what they can to make this show really stand on its own. People might watch at first due to this allegiance with Addison. But, if the show doesn't deliver, people will stop watching. I don't want it to be like every other show just like it. It needs to stand out, not blend in.
