All Things Considered, I'd Rather Be In Las Vegas

Las Vegas is absolutely one of my favorite places to go on vacation. I love the campy atmosphere, the slot and video poker machines, the blackjack tables, the free drinks, the topless shows, everything. But I'm getting to the point where I've gone so often I can't always find something new to do or see.

Do you have any ideas for fabulous can't-miss Vegas attractions? Where are your favorite places to play/stay/eat etc.?

Eat: Carnival World Buffet at the Rio.

I know there is some place right around there where you can drive an actual nascar. I know my friend did this when he went to Vegas a couple of years ago and had a blast. I cannot think of the name of the racetrack though? I will ask him tonight and post it on here for you.

I haven't been in Las Vegas in such a long time!!! I miss it! I love going there and gambling. I'd spent most of the time at the casino playing machines. I mean, I also go out and visit other casinos and eat at their buffet, but I'm very much into slot machines... of, maybe I WAS! When you are broke, the machines are not exactly the best place to go.

Almost forgot: There are many shooting ranges in Vegas that allow you to try a number of different guns for a price. You can even try things like an Uzi.

I've never gone to Vegas. And I don't want to. I know I'd sit at the slot machine all night. I don't know how to play Roulette or Black Jack. Screw that haha.

When we went to Vegas, we went for the remarriage of my in-laws. Because we didn't have a lot of time to save up money for the trip, we didn't have a lot. To go to Vegas and not hit the casinos or shows, is a tragic waste of time! We ended up walking around and sightseeing, not the best time in the world. We hope to go again someday...but this time with money.

I love the Rio (off the beaten path, great Mardi Gras show, friendly dealers), but somehow I've never made it to the Carnival World Buffet. I'll have to give it a try.
