Chloe Stuck her tongue out as her sister followed behind their mother, Elise used to be more fun, running around the gardens and playing with animals, but ever since she started Etiquette lessons she has become a perfect modal princess. Chloe quickly caught up to her mother and walked as perfect as she could, although she hated it, Chloe still put on the Princess airs when doing things in public, or when she knows her mother is angry or upset and doesn't want to give her a reason to be more angry or upset.
"Where are we going mother?"
Chloe whispered once they where out of the room.

BRENDAN
Brendan had been passing the doorway as Saul was yelling about his legacy. Brendan stepped onto the balcony and stood next to Saul
"does the memories of thy own father haunt you so, that you would curse his name on his death day?" Brendan said furiously, without looking Saul in the eye. "There is a time for anger, and a time for sorrow, even the simplest of kings knows that. Our father might not have been a perfect man, but he was a good man, and a good king." Brendan looked up at his older brother and practically spat out the last words.
"Day of his death ...this is the day of my deliverance,
the day the land will truly prosper. I will become a fine king
that shall differ me from the legacy of Elric Rotavele.
He may have been a father to you but that word is lost on
the likes of me."
He replied to his brother with such anger and hatred....He honestly cared very little of Brendan's words... he had no idea of what their father had put him and his mother through.

William
William was in his quarters still angered by Vespa's words.....
"You bring the lady of waiting to me now"
He had ordered a common servant......
He was thought of as irresponsible and careless. The irony of the fact that the pressures of the crown were of no interest to him but he wanted to be someone that the land would be proud of. In his day he had let lust and greed cloud his mind but now how can he leave that behind and begin anew.
"Maybe death will silence my soul as i am a mere footnote in the legacy of Rotevale"
Hazel eyes are preoccupied with needle and thread when servant enters into chambers, and Lucy is frowning rather heavily as she threads clumsy stitch after clumsy stitch. She does so hate sewing, and feels rather resentful at being put to work so soon after the death of her father. Truthfully, she is thankful for the intrusion. Material and thread is placed to the side as she stands and brushes off her own ill-fitting dress. She watches as the servant hesitates, as if searching for words,
❝ Prince William has requested your presence. ❞
A sigh of relief escapes through pink lips; Lucy had been expecting some tedious command from Lady Catherine, and she cannot stand the woman who looks at her as though she is a stubborn stain on her gown. The girl is quick to follow the servant out of her chambers and down numerous corridors. She does enter without knocking after him and is met with silence. Awkwardly, the girl does curtsy, mindful of the other's presence -- the gesture does not suit her. She recalls almost falling over each time as a child. Mind goes blank as she looks upon half-brother -- how does she address him now? Bluntly (and a little stupidly), she does say,
❝ You sent for me. ❞

Where are we going, mother?
Whispered inquiry is left to hang in mid-air as Catherine considers the question herself. Will the palace be safe for them anymore, without her husband to protect her and her daughters? Should they do naught, they would become pawns in this game. Head remains high as she walks, and eventually she does offer an honest response.
❝ I do not know; not yet. Somewhere safe, I promise you. ❞
Should they leave, Catherine did plan to take a large portion of the treasury with her, to provide for her children. She bites her lip at having to take her sheltered daughters from the only home they have ever known, albeit the only other option would be to wait and see. She would not have them removed from her care.
"Oh no need for such formal rubbish, i knew as a lady in waiting you'd be doing some form of sewing or washing or whatever
of the sort you do. I call you in here to ease my mind and see you deflect my arrows the way you seem to be able to do
luckily i might add."
He says to her tossing her a blade as he grabbed his bow and arrows. The somber look on his face could be seen... he knew of the rumors that Lucy may actually be kin to him a bastard sister but he did not believe the rumors. The king Elric was a notorious womanizer in fact William believes that is where he gets it from his weakness for women but it was no show women claimed their child was his, many a women had made the same claim that he had fathered their children as well, so Lucy was just a friend in his eyes.
"So apparently im not fit to be king and lead... what do you think of this Lucy.?"
She catches the blade with surprising ease, glowing slightly at the compliment he has paid her, though expression does falter as she catches sight of his face. Lucy frowns at just how solemn he appears, feeling the corner of her mouth twitch. She listens closely, for years of silence have taught her to listen well, and frown only deepens.
❝ Who told you that? ❞
Immediately, she does regret her outburst and lower her head as though embarrassed. She is not truly ashamed; she simply realises she has answered a question with a question. Had it been anyone else, she might have apologised, but this was William.
❝ What would your grace have me say? It does not matter what I think. ❞
(I am about to multi post because I don't want this to be deleted again. this might not end up as brilliant as it did last time, but I will try my best to remember every detail.)

BRENDAN
Brendan stood there for a second, anger still upon his face, before walking away and saying
"I can not change your mind, but if all you think about is war
then I can not allow you to be a king.
as long as I live, you will not sit the thrown."
Brendan knew that he had few allies, as they would only see him as a puppet, but Saul had few allies as well, most would see him as a warmonger, and would not want him to destroy the peace of the land. Brendan decided to head to the room that was once his own, it was now a trophy room. in the center was it's newest prize, the suit and sword of his late father, encased in glass and plated over with gold, it was no longer usable, just a display. as he turned to leave he saw a small hooded figure turning the corner to the castle exit, a thief?
♛ ♛ ♛ ♛ ♛
CHLOE
Chloe was afraid at the thought of her mother not knowing where they where going, she usually knew everything, or at least, Chloe had always known her for knowing everything. when no one was looking, Chloe snuck off to her room and changed into old boyish rags and a hood, she tied her sword to her waist and left the castle a silently as possible. she walked the streets towards the Blacksmiths. as she turned a corner to an Alleyway she was grabbed suddenly
"well now boy, how did I know you where going to come by today."
the voice of a scruffy man said. Chloe spun around with her sword, but before it collided with the mans skin, it hit a small dagger, which blocked the sword easily.
"we have some fight in this lad."
he said, as another man slunk out of the shadows. the man grabbed her sword from her hand and helf her to the wall, her hood fell off, but to anyone who didn't know her, she would look like a boy.
"so boy, I see you leaving the castle every day almost. always going to the blacksmiths, then back to the castle again. so I says to myself, must be a noble right? 'sept you don't where noble cloths, so I think, perhaps you are a theif? and sure enough the rustle of gold is heard around your belt."
he cuts a sack from Chloes belt, which was filled with gold.
"well, it's my lucky da-"
he began to say, but his smile was changed to a frown as he was impaled from behind. the sword that impaled him slid out slowly as the mans friend rushed to attack the person who had just saved Chloe's life. as the man ran at the mystery attacker, a hand reached out and grabbed the mans to stop his sword, then a blade swung down on the mans arm, cutting it off. the man ran off, bleeding. Chloe looked up to meet her Saviors face, the scared face of prince Brendan stared back.
(and now a rest before part 2, which I believe was the longer part to this post.)
Brendan drops the sword in his hand and falls to his knee, it was the first time he had ever killed a man. he turned to look at his sister, who had a mixed look of shock, fear and surprise on her face.
"Princess...what on earth where you doing outside of the castle?"
Brendan said in a whisper, in case anyone might be listening.
"I..." Chloe began to form a lie, but she stopped, it was over, he had saved her so she owed him the truth. "I sneak out to meet the blacksmith...he trains me in swordfighting. what...what where you doing?" she asked suddenly, realizing that he shouldn't be outside the castle either.
"I was following you...I had thought you a thief, but when your hood dropped I panicked and..." he said, pointing to the man on the ground, unable to finish the sentence. "does the blacksmith know who you are? I mean really know?" he asked her, looking her in the eyes.
"yes, he knows, but he doesn't care as long as I pay him." Chloe said without thinking.
"pay him? how? you are a young princess, money is spent on you not given to you." Brendan said with a quizzical look.
"I...I take it from the treasury room. they let me in because I am the princess, and since it is such a huge heap, the gold I take is not noticeable." she says, he head down in shame.
"how long have you been...training and stealing?" Brendan asked.
"...2 years, since I was eleven." Chloe says ashamed that someone now knew her secret, but suddenly the sound of laughter erupted from her brother, which caused her to lose her shame, and instead look up in confusion.
"to think, the worlds greatest thief for two years was living as a princess within the royal castle. when is the last time the Treasury was even reported robbed? never!"
he laughed,
"and all you had to do was walk in and out as you pleased, no one even bothered to check. the counters probably assumed the royal family was buying something off the books and didn't record the missing coin, not wanting to question our father."
he whiped away a tear from his smiling face and picked up his and Chloes swords. he sheathed his and stared at Chloes before sliding it between his belt.
"alright, come along little cutthroat."
he said, picking up the small princess and carrying her to the castle.
"how about we make a deal, you cease your thieving ways, and I won't reveal to your mother what has been happening."
Brendan says, putting her down in her room.
"but without the money, the blacksmith won't train me. I'll have to become a good little princess like my sisters."
Chloe says. Brendan hands her sword to her and smiles "then I guess you will need a new teacher, someone who won't put you in harms way for a bit of coin. someone who lives in the castle, and can come and go as he pleases."
Chloes eyes grew wide with excitement. "you are going to teach me?"
Brendan stood up straight with a stern face. "if it keeps you from running through the backalleys of the city, then I suppose I must."
he says.
"I have just finished my own training, but I garuntee you I know more then your old trainer, I was trained by one of the kingdoms greatest royal tutors, even so, once I have taught you all I know, you will still have much to learn, I am not the best with a sword, that honor goes to the older brother we share, Saul, but I can teach you more then any princess should ever know about sword fighting."
he says. Chloe suddenly jumps on him with a hug
"I'm sorry I called you a crybaby, you are actually pretty brave."
she says.
"you called me what?" Brendan said suddenly.
"nothing." Chloe says quickly, remembering he was not in the room for that.
"Enough with this your grace, and what you say does not matter, it tires me
it you want to be a loyal subject I ask that you be yourself and treat me like you
would a brother. I've heard the rumors... if Elric was truly your father what do you
fell now with his death."
William said this and pulled back and fired an arrow at Lucy

R O S A L I E
Rosalie was walking around.. she had lost where her mother was... and went roaming.
She saw advisors.. and she turned the hall and saw Vespa walking down with some hooded men...she quickly turned the corner and hid.
She felt like Vespa was up to something... she saw her walking but she couldn't follow...
Rosalie touched the plant the vines growing on the castle wall...
"Please... follow the lady Vespa i ask of you i have suspicions.. please help me"
The plant slowly receded into the wall....
Rosalie smiles as plants were her friend and she could hear them speak.. she shares this gift with her sisters and her mother as well.
