Odette strolls through the hallway in school. She always arrived early. A junior at the age of 17, her expression is that of joy. She wears a neon green camisole under her see-through white blouse, and then a black skirt. To go along with the outfit are knee high socks and then fashionable Ugg boots. Odette was always wearing something different, ranging from colorful to more natural. But it was always cute. Especially on Odette.
She skips into the library, spotting one of her many friends - Ed. He has his glasses pulled down as the book rests in his lap. Leaning over the massive novel, Ed glances up at Odette, who was hovering over him.
"May I help you?" Ed arches a brow in question before sitting straight in his chair. Odette gives a quiet giggle before twirling to stand in front of him.
"Nope. I was just wondering what you're doing. You're the only one in the library Ed. Haven't you realized?" Odette wonders aloud, tilting her head to one side as she laughs. Ed scans the area, realizing that not even the librarians are around.
"I enjoy reading. . ." Ed shrugs in response.
"Come on, Ed. Why don't you go play soccer or football with the other guys? You're great at sports. All of them." Odette exhales. She then plops herself down on his thigh, making Ed sigh and pinch the bridge of his nose. Odette makes herself comfortable on his lap, and then grabs the book. Her eyes move over to Ed, who leans back in the chair, hands placed firmly on the arm rest. She asks, "War and Peace? Really? This is what you like to read?"
"Yeah. I enjoy it." Ed nods, looking at her and laughing. Odette rolls her eyes and mutters something to herself.
Odette swings her legs back and forth slightly. "You're a senior in high school, age 18. Yet. . . no girlfriend. No sports. Really no popularity."
"I'm fine with that." Ed shrugs once more.
"Join a sport this year. This is your last year in this school. Come on. Do something." Odette frowns, and then bites her lower lip.
nya yawns as she sits under a tree in the shade, watching boys play sports. it was too early for her to feel...alive and resting near earth helped....
the boys just made it fun~
getting out a book from her bag she sighed contently, shakespear once again her choice of book today.
"to watch or not to watch, that is the question~" she giggled to herself unsure weather to continue watching the boys or read hamlet.
Nina sits in the art classroom on one of the tables, swinging her legs back and forth. She leans back, her eyes taking in every inch of the paint-splattered ceiling. She sighs; she was only here because she didn't feel comfortable in the staff room with all of the other teachers who were considerably older than herself. She focuses her attention to her perfectly manicured nails, at least for now. By the end of the day, they'd all be chipped and splattered with paint.
Blake laughs playing football shirtless.. he loved being in motion something about being active was electric for him.. it was just like when he was practicing for a match.. the moment when time slows down.. and you can hear every breath as you put your all into a motion.. for him it was a incredible bullet pass for a touch down as the ball cut through the air and it was a 220 yard pass
(Sure. . . go ahead. People have their own opinions. If a demon doesn't like himself, that's his problem XD)
The first school bell rings, and Odette leaps off Ed's lap. She gives him a short wave and a happy "good-bye" before skipping her way towards class. Ed sighs before putting the book away, having finished it. He then leaves the library, and goes to his own class.
"Sports. . ." Ed ponders the thought as he walks into his classroom, and then shakes his head.
"ohhhhh blake's doing well again.... better update the list." she chimed as she looked down at the notebook on her lap, hamlet in one hand, pen in the other she updated the talley chart of wins each player had. so far blake had the most.
" honestly, just when i'm about to read...." she mutters as she opens her book and silently reads, looking up and updating her list every so often.
Redd was in the classroom. he was the teacher of the class, as a cover. he was assigned to watch the Odette and make sure she didn't go demon mode during school. "hello class, your old teacher went on holiday and was regretably lost at sea. I have been called in as a replacment teacher. my name is mr.Hendrix." he says. "now, what where you studying last?"
(right, but wouldn't monty want her to be watched? I could take out the part where he knows she is a demon. he could just be watching her without knowing why.)
Odette clears her throat before answering, "We just finished talking about quantum theory." She smiles brightly, and the other students nod in agreement.
Ed looks around the room, realizing that Blake hasn't shown up yet. "Probably going to be late for class again. . ." He sighs.
"I see, well what part of quantum physics did you talk about, where you up to Einsteins part in the theory or where you still on Plancks research?" He asked to many a blank face.
"Actually, we were talking about the Pauli exclusion principle. . ." Odette responds, swinging her legs back and forth as she rests her head on the desktop.
"well then let's get started, The Pauli exclusion principle is the quantum mechanical principle that no two identical fermions may occupy the same quantum state simultaneously. A more rigorous statement is that the total wave function for two identical fermions is anti-symmetric with respect to exchange of the particles. The principle was formulated by Austrian physicist Wolfgang Pauli in 1925." he said writing equations on the board. "now can anyone tell me what I just said in your own words." he said smiling cheekily.
Odette had already fallen asleep, and the other students were all either doodling or paying attention to their own worlds.
Ed looks over at Blake's empty seat, and then at the teacher, who was writing down notes for today. The room was quiet, almost too quiet. With a quiet sigh, Ed pulls out a book and then begins reading.
walking into the gyms changing roms unnoticed she sighs as she gets changed into the horribly skimpy school sportswear and soon targets a phone, copying all the numbers before putting it back and walking out of the changing rooms.
"sorry coach~" she chimes " hamlet called to me~!" she laughs.
