An Experiment Old Thu Aug 31, 2006 2:26:20 PM #22660 Perm Link
A few days ago a friend and I were having an argument about frogs, more specifically whether frogs could hear from their hind legs. I found a frog and placed it down on the ground facing away from me and then screamed at it. It promptly hopped away. I repeated the process three more times all yielding the same result. I then ripped the frogs hind legs off and placed it on the ground and screamed at it. The frog did not hop away! The same result was yielded three more times

I repeated the process with two more frogs and the results are staggeringly congruent! I am currently in the process of contacting numerous scientific publications as I have, and quite surprisingly mind you, not seen this information in any scientific document to date!

Wow. In a world without historical facts, one man uses his fanciful imagination to create semi-historical movies. From the man who brought you "Last of the Mohicans" and "Braveheart" comes....."PATHFINDER!"

I'm suprised, by the name i thought it would be a movie about Sakagewea (that chick on the golden dollah coin yo).

I like how they made the vikings look like hardasses in this movie when in real life the native americans raped the shit out of them. And at least there are still native americans around today, there are no vikings. Vikings are still bad ass though. And this movie will be typical hollywood bullshit but it will be bad ass doing it.

And that's all that matters when it comes to vikings.

THOR!!! RRARGGHH!!! vikings4lyfe.

Well, depends on the tribe. If they met up with the aztecs they would have been like: "I will cut joo man! I'm going to fuck you up so bad you're momma won't recognize you! Don't you know i'm loco?". In all seriousness, they just found this Aztec village where after the Spanish killed thier king and took over the Captiol they kept on resisting. They captured 500 people, some spanish, some allied to spanish, some enslaved to the spanish. They killed a few a day and ate some parts in rituals, usually killing them by ripping out the heart. It took six months to go through all of 'em.

It's REALLY hard to imagine Laef Ericsson being that brutal kvlt and n3cro.

I recently read Bernal Diaz Del Castillo's "The True History of the Conquest of New Spain" and in it he describes seeing his friends palpitating hearts ripped out to be sacrificed by the Aztecs. It ruled.

They felt so emasculated they had to go pick on bulls. @_@

Seriously, the Aztecs had the right idea, they scared the living shit out of their enemies. If they had developed gunpowder then God help the Spanish. If they used the spanish boats to go back to Europe that would have been reaaaaaally not good.

Indeed and much in the Hollywood way where the gore is probably going to be close to Gladiator. Romans are bad ass. But vikings are hard ass.

So this Hollywood story line and gore is excusable. Smile

My boyfriend is Native and he laughed his ass off at the trailer.

He was like "Dude, wtf? Leaf Erikson VERSUS some random Native American! Who will win? Chuck Norris, obviously."

But he's silly, we all know Leaf Erikson would pwn Chuck Norris with kvlt blak methal norsk arysk Viking warhammar +20.

God bless:
