Conroe is a new Intel chip and the AM2 is the newest AMD socket. I agree about waiting till the end of the month, though.

its a PROCESSOR not a computer i can't put computers together. Unless you have something already built thats just as much money as 890 and just as good or beter than the xps 400 OR something already (prebuilt) on the market tell me,

the ENTIRE computer not just the processor
