it's most likely a male.... as a female would be more stealthy if it were stalking ( as they are the deadlier of the species- i don't reccomend messing with a she wolfs cubs o_o )

if you can, form a connection with it.

it's always best to learn the name of the creature your dealing with.

toby a german shepard on the bottom of my stairs was once a black figure chasing me, he slowly began to develop however i did not walk with ease up the stairs ( cleo sits at the top and sort of goes' hey ghostmutt! she doesn't feel like playing!' and scares him away from the top XD - and i know it's cleo because she had this particular aura when alive and even in death the cats still overprotective of me =_= )

until i learnt his name i felt scared and ran up the stairs.
however upon bonding with him over the years.

he told me he was called toby.

i was talking to my mom about him as she can also see the dead and she asked what his name was.

i could've said any name...

but toby was the name that screamed at me so i said it....

i can now tell him to be good and leave people alone on the stairs XD

he is indeed jenny however he's not experianced the things my mother has.

my dad is a druid ( several titles in paganism you see XD ) but he isn't able to use the magic due to having a temper XD

and so wasn't taught it in risk of him using it for personal gain.

because there are some who would use it to their abilities.

my mom tells me this often

the hardest part of having the magic is not using it'

so in a way he's lucky.

because if i'd ever turn out bad and got the braigh used on me....

i'd die without being able to feel the magic coursing through my veins.

because that magic is part of me and my soul.

of course i believe in god XD

he's the creator after all ^_^

christ however we believe was just a messenger, not the acctuall son of god as we are all sons and daughters of god....

if we look at the creation story you'll see that adam and eve were the only two humans alive.

if eve did indeed have two sons- they would have done the same thing to their mother that their father had.
- and god hadn't created any other humans to help them.

so in a way we are all really related XD

angels we believe in- i've seen some.

they don't really have wings though.

I'd be lyng if I said I never thought about paganism and such things.

it comes with it's ups and downs.

but it's truly something beautiful when you witness some of the magic.
