Star Wars was good because of Lucas' noninvolvement on the original 3. He didn't do the editing and they were good.

Now look at the new ones.

Agreed, the big three, Star Wars(good), Empire(best), and RTOJ(ok out of the 1st 3), totally blow away the new ones. Even with all the flashy CGI effects. Something about real models that makes it that much more enjoyable.

With those movies you just want to ignore that they ever happened.

Yep, and on the Pirates front, I read somewhere that they said the movie had too many effects and the comedy was drowned out.

I totally agree, cut the crap and give the audience some entertainment.
