Who has one?
What size?
What type?
Do you like it?
pros cons?
I have(had) one. A Lexar Jump Drive 1gb. AWESOME!.That little thing saved my ass many times. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago I lost it. I thought first that I left it plugged into a client's computer somewhere, but I had been to over a half a dozen places over the last couple weeks and couldn't remember. So I started making calls to see if I did leave it somewhere, but no luck...I worried over that little thing for a week. Paid 49.99 after rebates at Best Buy last Thanksgiving(that's a steal if you've priced them). I got a helluva deal on it and I was bummed big time!
Anywho..to make a long story longer. I ended up ordering another Jump Drive. THis time though I did some research and I got the fastest one I could fine. 1gb was good enough so I really didn't consider going with the bigger Jump drive. They make 2gb, 4gb and a whopper 8gb.
The one I ended up ordering is The Apacer 1gb Ultra Performance Thumb Drive See Here. I should be receiving it sometime first of next week. So I am excited...
HOWEVER!!! I'm sitting in my car yesterday and my Chapstick falls out of my pocket and rolls between the seat and the recliner cover and kind of lodges in there. I'm digiging around and guess what else I find hiding with my chapstick...MY LEXAR JUMDRIVE...WOOT! SO now it looks like I'll have 2 thumb drives after a week long episode of endless theatrics...
I have a 40GB pocket hard drive that is a 2" square that is the most awesome thing I've ever owned, and it wasn't even that expensive. And since it's not a flash drive it is much more stable. the problem with flash dirves is that they stop working after a lot of read/writes.
