From Thread: Gospel of John: The Movie Old Thu Jul 1, 2004 12:11:22 PM
Has anyone seen The Gospel of John. It came out in theaters about half a year before Passion of the Christ. It's well researched and tells the Gospel of John in it's complete form. That includes "In the beginning was the Word". They tell in a way that it has never been told leaving not of the Gospel of John out.

From Thread: Graduation Old Mon Jun 28, 2004 11:13:00 AM

Said By Drifter

thanks...and graduation went pretty well, but the grad party was amazing!! We went on a short cruise ship till 2 in the morning then went off to a sports club till 5. Then had a breakfast around 6. It was soo fun, and a bit tiring, but really fun. Kinda sucks that its over now though, definitely gonna miss people...

Nothin lasts forever no matter how much you want it too, but at least you had fun.

.. Never got above room temperature...

Of course you probably heated the room with your PC... Cause I know if you walk into my room with it off... turn it on, leave and shut the door... in 20-30 minutes, it's warmer in there already even with the Fan and AC on

But I agree, if you want to get your temp down an exhaust fan on the top of the case is the way to go

hell yeah, it is a great time to get a 9800, with the X800 showing up all over the place, its no wonder. ATI is certainly the way to go.
but Phydeaux is right, not all 9800 pros are created equally.

From Thread: "teh suXx0rZ" Old Tue Jun 15, 2004 11:25:03 PM
I am waiting for Service Pack 2 anxiously... but here is my main problem with its release...

All these people are screaming and moaning about the security not all being on by defualt, to allow more usuability, but now seeing/hearing about what SP2 will offer, people are yelling about anti-trust, because now the firewall will be on by default, ( not needing a 3rd party as much, in most eyes ), and a few other things, just to show you people will always find something to complain about...

I think XP could definently use some work though, and installing SP2 will be alot easier than installing all the updates currently individually...

Microsoft is soon going to relase Release Candidate 2 of SP2... pretty much SP2beta2 ... was supposed to be out in May, but they had to change somethings because of Anti-trust

I really like it... Has a couple settings that should be changed on installation, mainly automatic updating/scanning and Anti-Hajcker settings ...

Only issue I have had with it... is that on some customer PCs, I can't always run it in safe mode ... Haven't figured that one out yet

For a firewall, I just use my router. I'm not worried about stuff going outbound (like tojans). For a virus scanner, I use AVG (http://www.grisoft.com). The free one.

From Thread: Congragulations to the Japanese Audi Sport team! Old Sun Jun 13, 2004 8:39:09 AM
This years Le Mans 24 Hour race was very exciting. There were many battles in the "important classes" (LMP1 and GTS: Porsche always wins GT and LMP 2 nobody really watches). In the not so important classes, there were less but it was still a very exciting race. Let me tell you, seeing about 17 hours of the total tired me out and I'm rather sleepy now. Anyways, Sergi Ara won the race in a privately entered Japanese Audi Sport team making him the only the second Japanese guy to win it ever. His teamate, Hans Kristensen, has now tied the record for most ever won with 6 and has the record for most won in a row with 5. One of those indestructible Lolas won the LMP 2 class with an all American team from Ohio. GTS was a 1-2 with Corvettes with 3rd being one of them Ferrari 575Ms. GT was Porsche 1-6 place. The winning Audi was just 36 seconds away from the 2nd place United Kingdom Audi Sport team with Johnny Herbert making a hard charge for the lead, getting to within 24 seconds of the lead before driving off the track. A very exciting race when compared to a relatively tame one last year. And to top it off, 2 hours after Le Mans ended the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada will start live. A very good day for the racing entusiast. then, eventually the Nascar race is on but thats another story.

Secret Window was a little Fight Club worship-ish. I still liked the plot with the story and the ending though. It was very nice. And Eternal Sunshine was a great movie as well.
