has anyone heard of Dinotopia? it was a fantastic book series I used to read as a child, it had a straight to tv film that was actually vary well made, as it was one of scifis first double feature-type stories. I highly recomend it. also I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a roleplay based around it? the basic idea is that Dinotopia is this hidden island where dinosaurs still exist and some of them are even intelligent enough to talk and interact with humans, as well as write in the dinotopian language. the idea for the roleplay would be a shipwreck that lands all our characters onto the island and we must cope with finding this strange new world.
OMG has anyone heard about this? it looks amazing. I have already bought an import copy (since it is a simple fighting game that is, if it where, for example, a role-play game I would not have imported it since I wouldn't understand a single thing I had to do.) TSUNA, YUSUKE, BEEZLEBUB! this is the greatest thing ever.
Hey guys, remember me? Well, if you dont, then dont worry about it. But anyway, ive noticed this sight is somewhat dying, and I also remember all of the people that were in those x-men roleplays with me and young justice roleplays. This sight, Heroverse.forumotion.com is just starting off, and we roleplay DC and Marvel and other comics.
I'd hope you come and join us sometime, we'd love you over here. Though we dont wish to take you from here, atleast I dont. I want you to try this sight out and roleplay all you can! You are able to make your own character, several of them. And unlike on here you dont have to make a different character every thread. Have fun.

Yeah I have Skype but it's only for people that I personally know. That's how it will always be.For me, Skype is just something to resort to when phones are down or somebody's asleep and I don't wanna wake them. All that junk.
Yeah... Well, the only reason that I replied in the first place is because you answered it.... I placed this thread as one of those spammers... There's too much, I tell you...
I guess your right... Sometimes you have to pay attention .... Who knows, they might have a weapon or something and there you are listening to your music... I can see myself spacing out.... Well, in our school, my elementary school anyways, I'm one of those disciplinary officers, if you call it that... man, looking back at it now, I feel like I bullied those poor people... It's their fault anyways, they simply don't shut up. Well, good thing is is that I only punched two people!! Heck yeah!! The first one having a broken tooth... Man, I was nervous when that happened... He had blood in his face.... The second one being throwing our lunch boxes at each other...
Blah.blah, blah whatever.I'm not even a "sheeple" as you like to say.You are the one in denial and in the disinformation.Quit being all spooked into thinking that these insane ideas are true. You really gotta get a grip on yourself hon.Oh and for the record just because your username is "Anon" don't think you're all edgy and shit. Most people who go on that website are the fuckups and scum of the universe.Takoyaki out.
and yeah, the last scene from the above post is this....
A helicopter comes in and a magazine suddenly appears... You know, like in those commercials... Lol... the title said like this:
(then the pic of a man)
The students are back from being stranded!
(then celebrations and good luck things)
and of the magazine... then back in the school, Natsume was like being followed by 5 girls, I don't know why but she was followed... As she opens her door to her classroom, she looks back at the followers and smirks.. (Lol.. them fangirls got heartstruck... lol.. I loled in my dream.. i can totally imagine myself laughing while I am asleep..) Then that was that...
I had like the coolest dream just now. it started out on a pirate ship. a crew member had mysteriously died. the captain was in the middle of questioning the crew when another crewmember comes running up to him and whispers something into his ear. the whole crew goes down below decks and find a naked man laying behind some barrels of food. before the crew could do anything about it they all die mysteriously. skip ahead to the year 2013. a cop car is driving into the parking lot of a motel. inside the car is two men and a cop. the cop turns around, it's the man from the pirate ship all those years ago. "alright, you aren't dealing with a normal human being here." he says. "but don't worry, I'll keep you safe." the cop takes them to a room then goes down to his cop car so he can hide it before anyone notices it. as he gets in the car he gets a text on his phone. he looks at it and sees this text "I'll take care of them. " the cop rushes upstaris but it's to late. a woman is floating outside the window, she has them mezmorized. they start to walk toward the window, the cop grabs them. "why are you doing this!" he yells at the floating woman.
"Why did you leave?" she asks simply, then whips grow out of her body and grab both men by the neck, she pulls them out and devours them.
"this isn't who you are." the man says, then he starts to have a flashback.
it is feudal japan. a war has happened. bodies lay all over the ground. +t blood everywhere. two samurai fight in the midst of the bodies. one samurai is large, wields two great swords, the other is the man, who appeared on the pirate ship, and was a police officer in the year 2013. he is now wearing a traditional kimono. he lunges at the large samurai and clashes blades. the large samurai knocks him away easily. "you are quite strong." the large samurai smirks. "for a human."
"stop! before you continue, I do not believe in things like demons and devils. are you going to tell me that you are one of them?" the man says sword ready.
"No." the large samurai says. "actually, I'm a god. the god of war, anger and destruction." he raises his sword towards the man "and you are the silver flash, the fastest, and deadliest samurai in all japan. the gods are not happy with you. you have killed far more then most humans, and I was sent to destroy you." he lunges at the man, he swings his huge sword down, the man holds up his sword but knows that this large man claiming to be a god is much stronger then him. he rolls out of the way just as the sword falls to the ground, creating a large crack in the ground. "I don't want to destroy you, you impress me." the so called god says. "in fact I want you to rule, by my side. that's why at this vary moment, your wife is being killed. to break all ties you have with this earth." the god said.
"what?" the man says. he dashed towards his home.
"I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU!" the god screams. he chases after the man. teleporting infront of him, he holds his sword up, but the man is quick, he raises his sword, and uses it to push off the gods sword, giving him a huge boost. he makes it to his hut, it was built over a river. it was on fire, he rushed to it. he screamed his wifes name, he finally found her, floating in the river outside, half dead. "NO!" he screamed holding her. the woman he held in his hands, his human wife, was the same woman in 2013 that was killing the two boys he had been protecting.
I woke up after this, I don't know what happens next.
O.K. so I was looking up screw attacks death battles (if you haven't heard of them google it, they are very interesting) mainly goku vs. Superman. That was when I came across the "goku vs. Naruto" thing that is/was spreading across the Internet. I want to know if anyone really thinks naruto has a chance. it upsets me that some people think so. If you do side with naruto please post a logical reason why.
'Unwind' is a good book. Let's see, 'The Last Thing I Remember' , 'The Long Way Home' , 'The Truth of the Matter' . Those three are of the same protagonist. Like a prequel and sequel. Something like that. .There is also a book about L (from Death Note) about the murder cases she solved and where she probably meet the woman who died in episode 6 of the anime series. There is also 'Lament' and 'Ballad' .
I also recommend manga 'Kuroshitsuji' , 'Death Note' , 'Soul Eater'.
I think I am missing something you are trying to say. I am not saying 2 amendment is bad nor I am I saying it is their to distract us from real problems. It is their to protect our right to protect our selfs. I am saying, however, that the government uses stories like school shootings and gun control in order to distract us.

Dear fellow citizens of the United States,
We are Anonymous.
Most of us have an intuitive understanding that action beats reaction. That being ahead of the curve is how you drink the milkshake. So let's stop reacting. Instead let's see what our ideas look like from an active mindset rather than a reactive one.
Fairness is replacing what was lost, not returning harm for harm. Freedom is what you can do, not what you can have. Honor is defending what you respect, not what you cling to. Justice is repairing what is damaged, not chasing bad guys.
There is no fairness without freedom, nor can freedom lead to fairness without honor. And what is justice without fairness, freedom, and honor, but an empty shell? And what becomes of fairness, freedom, and honor, without justice? Without justice fairness becomes petty squabbling, freedom becomes aimless excess, and honor becomes tribal retribution.
So what can we do that could turn this system around?
Just for starters we need to create some public support culture:
Protocol: Human cloud network Next time you go to an appointment in a government building or a place where people tend to gather: a mall (or a shop, stairs, movie, food court inside) a court house, a police station, dept of motor vehicles
1. Stand outside for at least 5 to 10 minutes, pick a random number of minutes. 2. Do not leave until there are at least 3 to 5 other people or the time is up. 3. People going to a frustrating or difficult situation need to talk or ask directions or just not feel alone. 4. No politics, no names, no expectations, no blame.
This will make it easier for citizens to relate to each other and create a grapevine on demand.
Protocol: Butterfly effect We are a networked civilization. Let's act like it. When an issue comes up in another place: we should hold conferences and protests in other towns and states. scale down a far away event one degree closer.
1. International issues should be protested at corporate, bank, government, or think tank offices. 2. Any issue that happens far away should trigger action locally such as reminders of past events and highlights of local similar incidents. 3. National issues should be protested at state government offices to reduce relevance of central government inertia and increase local vitality and influence. 4. The first one to three days should be solidarity marches, afterwards demand action on similar local issues.
This will make any abuse by the system much more costly in reputation and cause every infringement to lead to rapid change.
Protocol: Constitution over prosecution Whenever a fellow citizen is accused, assume innocence until proved guilty: show up at the court house. keep people aware of news. 1. If it's national, protest at your state capitol, if it's in another state, protest at your city hall, if it's in your state, protest at the court house, if it's in your city, protest on your street. 2. Always bring a friend, food, water, news clippings. 3. Never allow press to miss the important details, signs should ask questions the press isn't. 4. Promote at your local library so people know about it.
Let the system know that we will not put up with abusing neighbors or strangers.
Protocol: Inverted matrix Responding face to face with oppression leads to a crushing stalemate in a large country as ours. Our daily routine is our means of survival. Fighting for our rights all the time is the same as losing them. Instead deconstruct the incident and apply the right kind of pressure. Expose the decision makers to harsher consequences than those who merely follow orders.
1. When an officer violates rights, expose the bankers that run the country. 2. When someone attacks a neighbor, drop your work and defend them so they can work, which is the exercising of their rights. 3. When a politician violates trust, expose the corporations that bribe our governments. 4. When someone attacks your rights, ignore them so you can continue working, which is the exercising of your rights.
If they keep you so busy fighting that you can't take care of your daily life, that is the same as denying you the ability to have certain rights.
