Verizon Customers Get Free Summer Coverage When They Sign Up for Bundle of Verizon Internet Security Suite and Verizon Online Backup & Sharing Services
Upcoming Summer Vacations for School Children Signal Ideal Time to Check, Update Online Security Tools
NEW YORK, June 2 -- The approach of summer vacations for most school children is an ideal time for families to conduct a critical checkup of their online security tools, and - with a new bundle offer - Verizon broadband customers can get what amounts to a summer of free protection from online threats.
Customers ordering the new bundle of Verizon Internet Security Suite (VISS) - powered by McAfee - and Verizon Online Backup & Sharing (VOBS) for the first time will qualify for three months of free service. After the first three months, customers will be automatically billed the monthly rate of $10 for 50 GB (gigabytes) of online storage and sharing and VISS coverage for up to three computers. Other Internet-security options and backup and sharing plans also are available, and Mac-operating-system versions are available for both VISS and VOBS.
