Steve Kennedy, president of Calculated Industries, said the company embarked on the iPhone project to satisfy customer requests for a construction-math calculator on the popular platform.

"Our customers love the Construction Master and they wanted the functionality on their iPhones," said Kennedy, "so we developed apps for the Construction Master Pro and Construction Master 5. We also just released a new Windows version of the Construction Master Pro and Pro Trig calculators.
