AMSTERDAM, May 3, 2010-- We're proud to introduce WeTransfer, a new, 100% free file transfer
service that allows you to send huge files (up to 2GB per transfer) over the
web. It's uncomplicated, has a pleasant design and you don't even have to
register. We had our soft launch only 4 months ago and already have a
colossal 600,000 users in more than 190 countries, while the service is still
in Beta.
WeTransfer is fast, basically as fast as your internet connection can
handle. Your files are automatically scanned for viruses before they're
safely stored on our servers, so there's no chance of unwanted surprises at
the other end.
Receiver becomes sender
What we hoped for has actually happened. In only four months, we measured
that every third receiver becomes a sender.
