HUNTSVILLE, Ala., April 22 -- Beijing Xing Tian Di Information Technology Co., Ltd., a GIS services provider in China, has expanded its Intergraph® digital camera portfolio with the medium-format RMK D(TM). As a user of Intergraph's large-format DMC® since 2003, the company has acquired the RMK D for smaller mapping and remote sensing projects. "With the high accuracy and image quality of the DMC, we were able to make a smooth transition from film-based to digital image capture, providing customers with more precise imagery while reducing costs and cutting processing time from a few months to less than a week," said Mr. Zhang Chao, the general manager of Beijing Xing Tian Di. "We now look forward to expanding our digital imagery capabilities with the RMK D, the highest quality and most versatile medium-format digital aerial camera on the market."

"The combination of extremely high quality and a competitive price point makes the RMK D the best choice for organizations planning to transition from film to digital or for those looking to supplement their large-format cameras with a convenient, cost-effective solution for smaller jobs," said Jack Ickes, vice president of photogrammetry for Intergraph. "We are pleased that Beijing Xing Tian Di and other aerial imagery providers around the world continue to trust Intergraph to deliver unmatched camera quality and value."

Beijing Xing Tian Di is a leading provider of digital terrain models and orthophotos for various Chinese government clients, including local land and planning bureaus, as well as utilities. It was the first company in China to implement the DMC, and is a market leader in China for its pioneering use of technology.
