Blip.tv Announces iPad Compatible Version of the Next Generation TV Network; Releases First Ever HTML5 Player

NEW YORK, April 2 -- Online media company blip.tv today announced the release of an iPad compatible version of its Web site. The mobile destination site will feature the first launch of an HTML5 player by blip.tv, enabling enhanced streaming of blip.tv's wide ranging video content.

The iPad optimized destination of blip.tv will showcase the company's best new show episodes of the day with a variety of genre specific channels including comedy, drama, documentary, tech, music, and app reviews, a channel focused exclusively on shows covering new apps. The site makes it easy for visitors to scroll through pages of blip's original, independently produced content through a graphically-focused, user-friendly experience. Blip.tv is also working on a full-fledged iPad application.
