HOT POCKETS(R) Brand Launches Major League Gaming Freedom Pass

The chance at $25,000 worth of prizes and access to premier content will be awarded throughout the MLG season, including highly coveted team passes, online competition credits, Xbox console and games, and more

DENVER and NEW YORK, April 1 -- NESTLE® HOT POCKETS® brand and Major League Gaming (MLG), the professional video game league, today announced the launch of the HOT POCKETS Freedom Pass. The HOT POCKETS Freedom Pass will give consumers who register the chance to win monthly prizes and access specialized content throughout the MLG 2010 season. The new program brings together the freedom that is the essence of HOT POCKETS® brand sandwiches and the competitive video gaming lifestyle. This is the first major initiative of the HOT POCKETS® brand and MLG partnership which will also include retail activation and team sponsorship.

Consumers can sign up for the program at http://www.mlgpro.com/hotpockets and the first round of winners will be announced on Friday, April 30th, 2010. The first slate of prizes includes:

  --  One (1) winner of a Fly-away trip for two to a Pro-Circuit Regular
      Season Competition
  --  One (1) winner of a Team pass to live Pro-Circuit Regular Season
      Competition
  --  One (1) winner of an Online gaming lesson
  --  Fifteen (15) winners of Game Battles credits (10 credits each)
  --  One (1) XBOX 360 console
  --  Nine (9) winners of games for the Xbox 360 (1 game each)
  --  Ten (10) winners of a MLG sweatshirts
  --  Twelve (12) winners of a MLG hat
  --  Twelve (12) winners of a MLG tee-shirt
