Intrinsic-ID CEO Daniel Schobben to Address Counterfeiting at GSA Suppliers Forum

Schobben to Cover Hardware Intrinsic Security Solutions That Stop Semiconductor Counterfeiting

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 16 -- Intrinsic-ID, an emerging semiconductor intellectual property (IP) and services provider, today announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Schobben, will deliver a presentation at the GSA Suppliers Forum and Networking Series on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in Palo Alto, Calif.  The presentation will be delivered during the 'Chip Security' segment from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will cover hardware intrinsic security (HIS) solutions for semiconductors.

The security and authenticity of electronic devices is fundamental to electronics companies and their customers for the protection of their assets.  Hardware security is crucial to preventing security breaches.  HIS provides security and implementation benefits over existing approaches by extracting the secret key from the hardware instead of storing it.  The presentation will discuss HIS solutions that enable semiconductor companies to secure their assets against cloning, tampering, theft-of-service and reverse engineering.

The GSA Suppliers Forum and Networking Series will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP located at 2475 Hanover Street in Palo Alto, Calif. 94304.

Daniel Schobben's presentation will be made available online after March 24th at http://www.intrinsic-id.com.
