Luminex Corporation to Webcast Annual Investor Presentation

AUSTIN, Texas, March 1 -- Luminex Corporation (NASDAQ:LMNX) today announced that senior management will host an institutional investor and financial analyst luncheon on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. EDT at the NASDAQ MarketSite, in New York City. Luminex management will review the Company's financial progress, operating highlights and strategic initiatives, and will provide an update on product development activities followed by a question and answer session.


The investor presentation led by Patrick J. Balthrop, president and chief executive officer, will begin at 11:30 a.m. Eastern time.  In addition to presentations by senior management, the event will feature presentations by industry thought leaders, Dr. Andrea Ferreira-Gonzalez, Professor of Pathology and Director of the Molecular Diagnostics Lab at Virginia Commonwealth University, and Dr. Thomas Joos, Head of Biochemistry, NMI Natural and Medical Sciences Institute at the University of Tuebingen.  The presentation will be webcast live and may be accessed at Luminex Corporation's website at
