Honor Celebrates its 2nd Anniversary in India With the Launch of Flagship Honor 8 and Takes the Legacy of Dual Camera Further

    Honor, Huawei's smartphone e-brand for digital natives, today, launched its latest
flagship Honor 8 along with two other smartphones, Honor 8 Smart and its first 'Make in
India' phone Honor Holly 3. Since the entry into the market two years ago, Honor has
experienced extraordinary growth by focusing on the online market and giving digital
natives the type of devices that fit their lifestyle. Responding to this consumer loyalty
and feedback, Honor has expanded its offering with Honor 8 Smart and its first 'Make in
India' phone Honor Holly 3. Honor announced that the Honor 8 would be available in the
Sapphire Blue along with Pearl White and Sunrise Gold colors at a retail price of Rs.
29,999 giving a stiff competition in the segment; The Honor 8 will come with 2 years
warranty and a touch screen replacement guarantee in the first three months.

    While Honor 8 Smart is available in black, white and gold colors, it will be priced at
Rs. 19,999. Furthermore, Honor Holly 3 also available in black, white and gold colors
would be available at an attractive price of Rs. 9,999. The Honor 8 will be exclusively
available online at Flipkart and Amazon along with the Honor store and other offline
stores from 3.00pm onwards, while the other two will follow soon.

    Honor 8  

    The Honor 8 features high construction, inspired design, and next-generation
technology giving speed, and connectivity for today's young millennial consumers. Taking
the legacy of its predecessor, the Honor 8's 12MP dual-lens camera comprises of a RGB and
a monochrome lens that captures more light to deliver amazing picture quality, vivid color,
and stunning detail. Additionally it has an 8MP front camera that works well even in low
light for all the selfie fans. A sleek and elegant smartphone with its double-sided glass
design with a first from Honor - a Sapphire Blue colour, the Honor 8 runs Android(TM) 6.0
and Huawei's Emotion UI 4.1. The smartphone is powered by a 16 nanometer Kirin 950 chip
that reduces power consumption and enhances overall performance. Featuring a 3000mAh
battery, the smartphone has a 4GB RAM and external memory support up to 128GB. 

    For a heightened functionality, Honor 8's dual-function advanced fingerprint reader
redefines the 3D fingerprint scanning. The level 4 fingerprint acquisition algorithm
delivers enhanced security, and smart features like fingerprint reader to make payments,
take photos, record video, receive phone calls, or turn off an alarm or unlock its Smart
Key button functions, customizable for instant access to features and apps along with an
instant phone unlock. It also allows the users to take partial or full screenshots with a
tap of their knuckle and similar other features through its enhanced knuckle feature.

    Honor 8 Smart  

    Honor 8 Smart is a 5.2 inch, aircraft grand aluminium alloy framed compact smartphone.
Using the brand-new 13 million pixel stack sensor camera of SONY IMX214, Honor 8 Smart's
13MP camera can superbly capture scene light, high light sensitivity, providing good
effect of dim light, accuracy of color reduction and less noise during night shots, which
ensure pictures of higher quality and brighter color. It also houses an 8MP front camera
for takings selfies even in dark environments. It is equipped with a long battery life
with 3000mAh battery combined with the energy-efficient design of the excellent Kirin650
chipset and the brand-new smart electricity technology of EMUI4.1.

    Honor Holly 3  

    Reaffirming its commitment to the market, the Honor Holly 3 will be the company's
first 'Make in India' smartphone. The 5.5 inch smartphone equipped with a 3100mAh battery
for longer life. The Honor Holly 3 designed with a luxurious 3D back cover comes equipped
with a 13MP rear and 8MP front camera for faithful color representation.
