Computer Memory Test Labs to Introduce Industrial Certified Memory Product Seal

ANAHEIM, Calif., June 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CMTL, (http://www.cmtlabs.com), Computer Memory Test Labs confirmed today that it will be introducing a new seal for memory products (DRAM and flash based) that meet the industrial temp range of -40°C to +85°C in operational mode.

CMTL President John Deters stated, "A group of reference of industrial platforms will be used to perform the CMTL Advanced memory product compatibility and functionality test process at an industrial temperature range on memory products from manufacturers that offer industrial temperature rated products. One potential example could involve having a Legacy Electronics SODIMM and mSATA drive industrially tested as a "kit" on a Versalogic platform. In addition to the new industrial certified seal for memory products, we would like to initiate a program similar to our Intel Approved NUC memory product testing program, which involves testing multiple memory companies on specific platforms from companies such as Versalogic so their customer have a wider choice of matched manufacturer kit solutions (same manufacturer for SODIMM, mSATA or 2.5"SSD)."

About CMTL: Established in 1996, as an independent third party test lab to ensure memory module compatibility and functionality on computer platforms. To date CMTL has completed over 25,000 Advanced Testing Process memory product functionality and compatibility tests.
