Stream Data Centers Signs New Anchor Tenant for Minneapolis-Area Data Center

Anchor Tenant Will Occupy Private Data Center Suite III

MINNEAPOLIS, June 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Stream Data Centers (SDC), a national data center services provider, has signed a long-term lease with a new anchor tenant at its 75,675 square foot Private Data Center facility located in Chaska, Minnesota. The Private Data Center Suite includes a 10,000 square foot data hall as well as 4,000 square feet of dedicated office space.

"Data Hall III will deliver 1 MW of critical load providing additional control and flexibility to our long-term customer," said Paul Moser, co-managing partner of Stream Data Centers. "This new lease demonstrates our team's continued commitment to build and operate highly redundant, mission critical facilities for our customers."

Private Data Center Suite I of SDC's Minneapolis-area data center is fully leased. The company completed commissioning of Data Hall II in April 2016. Construction has commenced on Private Data Center Suite III with an expected completion in September.

Located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, the single-story, structurally enhanced data center facility has redundant utility power from two different substations and is designed to support 7.2 MW of IT load across three data halls. SDC's customers in Chaska receive a 100 percent sales tax rebate on all technology purchases located in the building.
