Vuzix iWear Video Headphones Manufacturing back on track with Enhancements and Software Upgrades
ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), a leading supplier of Video Eyewear and Smart Glasses products in the consumer, enterprise, and entertainment markets, is pleased to announce that the Company, after receiving and qualifying newly revised production components, has started ramping up production of its iWear Video Headphones. The Company is expecting full production levels within the coming month or so, as the supply chain accelerates its deliveries.

Along with improving supplier quality and higher yields, the newly qualified components have significantly improved the optical performance of the iWear Video Headphones in areas including contrast, color, and general optical performance. The company has also upgraded its iWear firmware and PC software to its latest 1.3 revision with improved head tracking and is continuing to grow its virtual reality title support, one of the many great uses of the versatile iWear Video Headphones.
