Face Swap Live iPhone App Is Taking The U.S. By Storm
App lets users switch faces in Live Video, put their face in photos and much more!
NEW YORK, Jan. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Face Swap Live (http://faceswaplive.com), a new Apple iOS App, has been sweeping the nation with everyone using it to switch faces in live video. Currently #1 in over 12 countries, this app has become a phenomena all over the internet. Already celebrities like Kathy Lee and Hoda, and World Leaders such as Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have all used the app to switch faces with hilarious results. The app has been creating a storm on all social media channels, taking over the popular hash tags #faceswaplive and #faceswap.
Face Swap Live is currently available on iTunes App Store at https://appsto.re/us/9PRk-.i and soon to be released for Google's Android. Developed by Laan Labs, the app lets users swap their faces in real-time on live video and then record videos and photos that they can then share. Users can also pick photos to put their face in or wear it like a mask. There is also a great internet search feature so users can search and face swap with their favorite celebrity like Justin Bieber or Beyoncé. Also included a number of advanced features to set which face features are swapped from eyes, nose and/or mouth and a detailed face vertices editor so users can swap faces with objects that don't have standard face features like pets, fruits or whatever users can think of.
"It's been amazing to see the diversity of face swaps from friends, family, colleges all the way from Bakersfield to Bangkok," says co-developer Will Perkins, "My favorites have been the baby/parent videos."
"We came up with this idea, because we have done a lot with computer vision and augmented reality (AR) in the past and we saw this an opportunity to put an amazing technology to use in a way that would be fun for the whole family," added co-developer Jason Laan, "We wanted something that would make our family get togethers more interesting."
