EZVIZ Enters Smart Home Market with $139.99 Mini IQ Camera
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- EZVIZ, a company spun off from the world's largest security video supplier, is launching a sophisticated, feature-packed smart home wireless camera today at CES - almost half the cost for comparable smart home cameras.

Mini IQ comes with Z-wave technology, so it can communicate with everyday smart products like lights, locks, and thermostats. Starting at an impressive $139.99, Mini IQ features 1080p HD resolution, 2-way audio, ambient temperature and humidity sensors, DC and battery power and night vision up to an impressive 30 feet.
With a 4-megapixel high-resolution image sensor, users can zoom in on the images and maintain a crystal clear 1080p high definition picture. Its glass lens also provides viewing angles as wide as 140-degrees diagonally with distortion correction, which allows Mini IQ to take in more scenery than most competitive smart home solutions. Mini IQ also supports a wide dynamic range of 120 dB for greater details in challenging lighting conditions.
When Mini IQ is not plugged in or during a power outage, it goes into power saving standby mode and shuts off the camera to minimize battery usage, and fully wakes up within 600 milliseconds when its passive infrared sensor (PIR) detects motion.
As always, EZVIZ has made data security and privacy the top priority, with every video encrypted directly on the camera and streamed securely by SSL to the cloud or designated device. Although videos can be easily stored on the EZVIZ cloud, you can also store video locally on a microSD memory card up to 128GB.
