The Mate 8 has a wide range of new features that help the device stand out from the
competition. A new generation of fingerprint technology allows the phone to be both smart
and secure; for example, the fingerprint-recognition system will make online mobile
purchases easier and faster than ever before.
Users can also expect a revolution in mobile photography, thanks to three years of
research and development. Huawei has developed the first 'proprietary image sensor
processor' which will give users faster focusing, higher clarity and more accurate colours
to their photography.
An 8 megapixel front camera has also been included on the device, enabling the perfect
selfie. The camera has been further enhanced by a new beauty algorithm to enhance skin
tones in photographs.
In so many ways, the device is also more intuitive than ever before, not least with
the business card-scanning capability. This allows for contacts to be added simply by
capturing a business card with the phone's camera.
