Huawei Launches Industry-Leading 2.5 GHz 4x4 MIMO CPE Solution for the U.S. Market at WISPAPALOOZA 2015
PLANO, Texas, Oct. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei today announced at WISPAPALOOZA 2015 the industry's first and fastest 2.5 GHz 4x4 MIMO CPE (multiple-input multiple-output customer premises equipment) solution, which will be commercially available in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2016.
Huawei's 4x4 MIMO CPE solution is the industry's first 2.5 GHz CPE capable of achieving throughput up to 220Mbps. The 4x4 MIMO CPE works together with Huawei's TD-LTE base stations to offer a robust wireless solution. When deployed in conjunction with 2 carrier aggregation, the CPE boasts the fastest peak cell rates in the market of over 400Mbps.

Huawei is expected to launch a 3.5 GHz version of the 4x4 MIMO CPE and additional advanced LTE technologies, including downlink 8x8 MIMO, 4-carrier aggregation and 256QAM (quadrature amplitude modulation) in the near future. These new technologies significantly increase spectrum efficiency and provide peak connecting rates of up to 1 Gbps.
Throughout the show, the 4x4 MIMO CPE solution will be showcased at Huawei's booth #247 with a live demonstration at the parking area entrance to the Rio Convention Center. Experts from Huawei will also be on hand to demonstrate an array of wireless solutions.
