Officially Licensed Universal Media Remote for PS4(TM) Launches Late-October
BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Performance Designed Products (PDP), the #1 third party accessory manufacturer in North America, is proud to announce the release of the Universal Media Remote for the PlayStation®4 (PS4(TM)) system in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The new remote gives users control of PS4 media apps, movies, music and other content via Bluetooth. The Universal Media Remote for PS4 is officially licensed by Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA), and will be available in late October for $29.99 (MSRP).

The Universal Media Remote can power PS4 on and off, and controls up to three additional devices including a TV, cable box, and audio receiver. The remote features many of the same buttons as the DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller, including the PS button, SHARE button, OPTIONS button, and Action buttons (triangle, circle, cross and square), making it easy to navigate system menus and apps on PS4.
