mPower Technologies Launches FastCharge with New Technology
CLIFTON, New Jersey, October 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
mPower Technologies Inc. (http://mpowertech.com), the consumer products subsidiary
of mPhase Technologies, Inc. (XDSL [http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=xdsl ]), announced today
that the company is launching a new branded innovative power solution that has a unique
feature for fast charging back-up power. Â
This battery technology goes beyond the lithium ion capabilities present in mPower's
portable jumpstarter line. The mPower FastCharge departs from the specific jumpstarter
category but remains in the battery charging market. This new product offers a unique fast
charge feature not found in the current jumpstarter product line and will broaden the
target market.
The mPower FastCharge has a unique technology feature that allows the product to fast
charge in 6 minutes through a 12V car cigarette lighter. The hi-speed charging input in
the cigarette lighter port is 14V/10A which charges 5 -6 times faster than the standard
input is 5V/2A for traditional charging. Â The unit offers the consumer a solution for a
backup power bank that can charge quickly and be taken on-the-go for electronic charging
when no wall power is available.
New product introduction along with line diversity is key to achieving future growth.
 To date, mPower has successfully branded four emergency jumpstarter units. mPower has
also recently demonstrated the mPower home generator and continues the development of a
new home battery generator for emergency backup applications.
