         World's first app to swap a Facebook Check In for a free cocktail is live 

    New British brand Drinki [http://www.drinki.com ] has launched a free cocktail app,
the first in the world to reward users with a free desirable reward - in this case, a
cocktail - in return for a simple Facebook Check In.

    More than 70 leading London bars and pubs have signed up to give free drinks to the
app's users, including Buddha Bar, The Big Chill and The London Grind.

    When Drinki users arrive they simply show a screen on their phone to the bartender,
who will tap the phone once; at this point a Facebook Check In is completed by the app.
The bartender will then shake up their cocktail or pop their champagne absolutely free.

    Users can claim one free Drinki each day, every day of the week.

    Founder Sophie Abrahamovitch said: "This isn't happy hour, it's much better. There's
no catch and there are over 10,000 drinks available each week. That number's rising
constantly as new venues sign up.

    "With Drinki, it's not about the number of friends or likes you have, it's about one
simple Check In on Facebook. The venue rewards you with a cocktail or glass of champagne
to get lunchtime or evening drinks off to a flying start.

    Drinki has a bar for everyone and every occasion, from high-end cocktail bars like The
Hide, through to nights out with friends at Trapeze in Shoreditch or pre-dinner drinks at
Beagle in Hoxton - and even late-night party venues like Zebrano in Soho. With Drinki,
it's never been easier to get a free drink.

    The average cocktail featured in the app would normally cost GBP8. Once the app has
been downloaded, users can view the nearest offers, such as: "Free champagne at Buddha
Bar", "Free Espresso Martini at Holborn Grind", "Free Jamble at Simmons Bar" or a "Free
Rapaska at Juju's, Chelsea". The offers are displayed on a map so they are really easy to
find.

    As the emerging experts on cocktails all over London, Drinki has worked with its bar
partners to reveal which cocktails are the most popular throughout London

for its spicy Bloody Marys, but Vermouth is on the rise in the East End.
