Epson Announces Industry's First 3-inch Mobile Printer with Autocutter
Built in Autocutter Ensures Superior Operational Efficiency
ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --Retail Solutions Providers Associations (RSPA) RetailNOW show -- Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, today announced its Mobilink(TM) P80 Plus printer with autocutter to allow customers in retail and hospitality to improve transaction accuracy, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and organizational productivity. Rounding out Epson's mobile printer line, the Mobilink P80 Plus leverages Epson's ePOS(TM) Print and Server Direct Print technologies with superior autocutter functionality to get customers in and out of establishments quickly. The industry's first 3" mobile printer with autocutter will be shown at RSPA RetailNOW, Gaylord Palm Resort & Convention Center, Orlando, FL., August 2-5, booth 501, and will be available from Epson authorized distributors and resellers by mid August.

According to a June 2014 research report by IHL Group titled "Mobile POS: Reaching Escape Velocity--All Systems Go," Mobility in retail is now a $7.8 billion business worldwide and "the single fastest moving trend in retail since the Internet was added to stores."
