To expand and to maximize utilization of its facility to fulfill market demands, Maddalena SpA replaced the existing storage system with a more reliable and better performing system that would sustain the 24/7 facility operations and support future integration with Falconstor NSS HA appliances -- their choice for the new storage solution was Infortrend's EonStor DS storage systems.
With over 20 VM servers under VMware vSphere 5.1 cluster environment, Infortrend EonStor DS storage systems are linked by Qlogic 8Gb/s Fibre Channel (FC) switches as the primary storage systems for mission critical applications such as SQL, email and file sharing. This new solution was introduced by NT Nuove Technologie, a renowned consulting agency and system integrator in Italy.
