Co-founders, Alex Gourley, Josh McCready and Keerthik Omanakuttan, spent years perfecting BitGym's patented 3D motion tracking platform from their lab in Berkeley, California. The technology uses the camera from people's smartphone or tablet, to automatically track motion, steps, and resulting calories burned, requiring no additional hardware or wearable devices.
