NextNine and Schneider Electric to Present Advanced Cyber Security for Nuclear Facilities at Upcoming Vienna Conference

PETACH TIKVA, Israel, May 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

Unique security concerns of nuclear facilities can be dealt with using advanced new
solutions that will be presented by executives from NextNine and Schneider Electric
(Euronext: SU) at the leading conference on nuclear facilities hosted by the International
Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria, June 1-5, 2015.

"Nuclear facilities are at the top of the risk curve, as any cybersecurity breach can
have dire consequences. Whether through an insider threat, spear phishing or brute force
attack, these crucial plants are prime targets, and need to be continuously and thoroughly
protected while still managed and operated efficiently," said Shmulik Aran, CEO of
NextNine. "At NextNine, we take a leadership role in enabling critical infrastructure
owners worldwide to harden their enterprises and gain visibility into their overall
compliance with regulatory standards at every point in time."

Michael Coden, VP of NextNine will be presenting the following sessions:

Secure Remote Cyber Hardening of Industrial Control Systems in Nuclear Facilities in
Compliance with International Standards Jointly presented with Schneider Electric, this
session is based on the joint monitoring and maintenance of industrial control systems at
hundreds of sites, many of which are nuclear facilities, since 2006. Wednesday, June 3,
14:00 - 15:40, M-Building, Room: M1/B.

Applying Safety Analysis to Cyber Incidents
This session will present novel research on cyber incident prevention models from the MIT
Interdisciplinary Consortium for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity, or
MIT-(IC)3, of which NextNine is a member. This presentation will show how cyber incident
prevention is analogous to industrial accident hazard avoidance and prevention, and
present a model and process that can be used to prevent cyber incidents. Tuesday, June 2,
16:00 - 18:00, M-Building, Room: PR.

ISA / IEC TR62443-2-3 Patch Management Technical Report

ISA99 Technical Report TR62443-2-3, and the associated technical specification in the
IEC 62443 series, address the patch management aspect of IACS (Industrial Automation and
Control Systems) cyber security. As a co-editor, Coden will describe the organization of
the components of IEC-62443, and review a summary of the 62334-2-3 Patch Management
Technical Report. Wednesday, June 3, 11:00 - 12:40, M-Building, Room: M1/B.
