OTTO Announces Release of New High Temp Fire Mic
CARPENTERSVILLE, Ill., March 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- OTTO, an industry leader in two-way radio accessories, has announced the release of a new fire rated speaker microphone. The OTTO 500 is the first high temp fire speaker microphone designed and tested to withstand 500°F (260°C) for more than five minutes.

Utilizing a special high-temperature design for the case, cable and strain relief, the OTTO 500 is able to function even after heat exposure of up to 500°F. The OTTO 500 is also immersion rated and fully sealed to the IP68 standard, and tested in one meter of water for 31 minutes. A newly redesigned clip developed with input from fire professionals ensures a secure attachment to gear.
