Creators of Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood Reveal What it Takes to Create 'Playable Art'

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Indie dev studio Pencil Test, in partnership with Versus Evil, today released a new behind the scenes trailer that reveals the 'magic' used to create their new clay animation point and click adventure game, Armikrog.

Bucking the traditional development process, 'Giving Life to Tommynaut'  focuses on how the game's lead protagonist Tommynaut and his sidekick Beak Beak are brought to life through a combination of stop motion puppet and clay animation techniques with modern day technologies, creating a uniquely handcrafted video game experience.

Creative team Ed Schofield and Mike Dietz from Pencil Test Studios along with Douglas TenNapel originally funded Armikrog on Kickstarter. The game will initially launch on PC, Mac and Linux platforms this Spring with a Wii U version of the game also in the works.
