PETALUMA, Calif., Jan. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Panamax, the renowned, industry-leading brand of electronic and electrical protection, filtration, and control products, today introduced the consumer market to its breakthrough Panamax Power360 Series -- the company's first affordably priced retail product line designed to protect and charge all electronic devices.

The Power360 series comes in models for every household. The wall-mounted "DOCK" unit is designed with six surge-protected 120V outlets plus two USB ports sharing a 2 amp capacity, making it the perfect charging station for any smartphone or tablet. The DOCK design also features a "Technology Cradle" on top that allows consumers to rest their phones and tablets while charging.
The "SIX" power strip has six side-by-side surge protected outlets, an integrated 2 Amp USB charger feeding two ports, and a coaxial in/out connection that protects the signal for the cable or satellite box, and telephone line protection for DSL or other phone line applications. The USB charger can be extended to a tabletop with a micro USB cable, delivering flexibility that allows consumers to charge desktop devices without having to get on their hands and knees to plug them in. Retailing at $45.99, the SIX also features mounting holes so it can be fastened to a wall for convenience.
For larger workstations, the $59.99 "EIGHT" combines eight surge-protected outlets with two, 2 Amp detachable USB chargers, each with two ports for a total of four simultaneous USB connections, plus the telephone and coaxial in/out for signal protection. It is shorter and wider than the SIX, and can be mounted to a wall.
Each product features Panamax's trusted SmartGuard technology to monitor incoming power and safeguard against over-voltage or brownout conditions. The units will automatically cut power to equipment if voltage is too high or too low and reset power when voltage returns to normal.
The Protection indicator ensures that connected devices are protected from power surges. The Voltage indicator confirms that the unit is operating correctly and delivering the right amount of power, and the Wiring indicator shows that the home's wiring is properly grounded and wired.
