The first step to using your tablet as an offline navigation tool is to download one of several offline GPS navigation apps from Google Play. Many of the popular apps are free to download and offer in-app purchases depending on the features you want to install.
After installation is complete simply connect your tablet to a car mount, open the app and you're ready to navigate without fear of connection loss.
