After powering on the TAP-EX, the user taps to scan for the Wi-Fi network they would like to extend, then selects that network from the list and setup is complete.
The touch screen also allows the user to also control many Parental Control features and settings like Guest Networks, the Wi-Fi Access Schedule, User Access Controls, the strength of the Wi-Fi signal in Signal Coverage Controls and many other details.
At a mere five inches tall by about five inches wide, the TAP-EX can be placed on a shelf, desk, or even mounted to a wall.
