Bloxland Story out now for iOS, Android and Windows Phone

Bitbox Games
- The game aims to capture the '80s arcade experience in modern devices
Bitbox Games, a Spanish video game publisher, announces that Bloxland Story, from its
partners Talaiot Studio, is now available in Google PlayStore, Apple iTunes and Window
Phone Store, for smartphones and tablets.
Developed over two years, Bloxland Story mixes puzzle strategy and frantic action.
Although the gameplay might look similar to other games from the "match-3" genre, the game
features original mechanics never seen before.
Bloxland Story's art style is strongly inspired by '80s and '90s video games. Catchy
synthesized music combines perfectly with 16-bits pixel-art graphics, reminiscent of the
Arcade Era.
Story Mode, featuring 40 stages through 5 world-zones, puts the player in the shoes of
Kubik and his teleporting machine. Each stage introduces new challenges among different
game conditions: collect blox, against the clock, survival or puzzle resolve. In addition
to Story Mode the game also presents two extra unlockable modes: Survival and (coming
soon) Time Attack.
One of the main attractions of the game resides in the online cross-platform
leaderboards where players can submit their score points and compare them with other
players'.
Bloxland Story was first shown last June at Mallorca Game 2014 (video games event held
in the Balearic Islands) where it was highly acclaimed by the players who were able to
test it. Talaiot Studio developers David Martins and Pablo Beltran describe Bloxland as a
sincere expression of passion for video games, a classic arcade experience adapted for
modern audiences but maintaining the essence of challenging gameplay. The game has had a
good reception and has been featured on Windows Phone Stores in many countries. In the
near future Bloxland Story will be submitted for PC/MAC/Linux to Steam Greenlight program.
